Terms of Service

Last updated: August 26, 2026

These Terms cover access to everyscreen and include the free-plan fair-use rules that keep evaluation workspaces separate from larger deployments.

1. Using everyscreen

These Terms govern access to everyscreen, including the CMS, player software, APIs, downloadable player bundles, and related services. By creating an account, joining a workspace, pairing a screen, or using the service, you agree to these Terms for yourself and for the organization you represent.

Self-serve account creation is intended for adults, or people who are authorized to use everyscreen on behalf of an organization. If you are using everyscreen for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization.

You must not invite a younger user into a workspace unless your organization is responsible for that user's use of everyscreen and has any permission or consent required for your region and setting.

2. Accounts and workspaces

You are responsible for the accounts, workspaces, screens, player devices, users, content, credentials, and activity under your control. Keep login details, pairing codes, device tokens, and web credentials secure.

Account details must be accurate enough for us to operate the service, provide required notices, and contact you about security, billing, plan limits, suspected abuse, or service-impacting issues.

3. Plans, limits, and fair use

everyscreen may offer free, trial, beta, paid, or volume plans. Each plan may include limits on screens, paired devices, storage, bandwidth, API usage, support, retention, features, or other usage. Plan limits may be shown in the product, on the pricing page, in an order form, or in plan documentation.

The free plan is intended for evaluation, pilots, and small deployments within the published free-plan limits. It is not intended to run a larger deployment by splitting one real fleet across multiple free workspaces or accounts.

We will not convert a free plan into a paid plan or charge you for a paid plan unless you affirmatively choose a paid plan or otherwise authorize paid billing.

4. Payments, cancellations, and refunds

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance through our billing provider or merchant of record. You can cancel a paid subscription at any time through the billing portal where available, or by contacting [email protected]. Cancellation stops future renewals; unless we tell you otherwise or the law requires a different outcome, paid access continues until the end of the current billing period.

We will refund billing errors, duplicate charges, or charges that were not authorized because of a mistake by us or our billing provider. If you are trying everyscreen as a paid customer for the first time and decide it is not right for you, contact us within 14 days of your first paid subscription charge and we will refund the unused first billing period, unless the account has been used for abusive, fraudulent, or unusually high-volume activity.

We generally do not refund change-of-mind renewals or time already used before cancellation, but we will consider pro-rated or goodwill refunds where a service outage or support issue makes everyscreen materially unusable. Nothing in these Terms limits any non-excludable rights you have under applicable law, including Australian Consumer Law consumer guarantees where they apply.

5. No plan-limit circumvention

You must not bypass, evade, or circumvent plan limits or enforcement controls. Circumvention includes direct attempts and attempts made through related users, entities, workspaces, devices, automation, or aliases.

  • creating, controlling, or coordinating multiple free workspaces or accounts to exceed free-plan screen, storage, bandwidth, or usage limits
  • using email aliases, plus-addressing, disposable addresses, false details, or rotating identities to avoid plan limits or enforcement
  • repeatedly deleting, re-pairing, rotating, or re-identifying screens or player devices to avoid screen limits
  • pooling free workspaces for one deployment, customer, venue, reseller, agency, or managed-service arrangement
  • using scripts, bots, or other automation to create accounts, pair devices, upload content, or consume resources in a way that evades limits
  • using everyscreen primarily as file hosting, CDN capacity, backup storage, or another use unrelated to operating digital signage

6. Review and enforcement

We may review usage, account, workspace, content, device, billing, and operational signals to detect security issues, fraud, service misuse, or plan-limit circumvention. We will use those signals to operate and protect the service, not to reject ordinary customer practices such as legitimate email aliases.

If we believe plan limits are being circumvented, we may contact you, ask you to consolidate related workspaces, require a move to an appropriate paid plan, restrict new uploads, restrict new pairings, restrict publishing, suspend access, or terminate the affected accounts or workspaces. Where practical and lawful, we will give notice before suspension or termination.

We do not delete customer content automatically just because a workspace is over a plan limit. We may block additional usage until the workspace is brought within its plan, upgraded, or otherwise resolved.

7. Acceptable use

Do not use everyscreen to violate law, infringe rights, compromise security, disrupt the service, probe or attack systems, send malware, scrape the service, or interfere with other customers. Do not upload or publish content unless you have the rights and permissions needed to use it on your screens.

You remain responsible for what your screens display and for configuring content, schedules, credentials, and players appropriately for your environment.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms as the product, pricing, and billing flows mature. If a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we will provide reasonable notice through the product, by email, or by another appropriate channel.
